New

I actually didnt make an effort to point out that this year is 2010 and its a new year in my blog.

"Shame on you lester..."

Cool. Fine. HAPPY 2010! Take the zeros away, and its my age! How awesome is that, and we're all dying in 2012. Kidding. I have so much to do =D

So new year is usually about new resolutions and aims and whatnot, i regret to inform every living soul on the 3rd rock from the Sun that...i actually did not achiev any 2009 targets, well not that i have ANY to begin.

"Shame on you lester...."

=_= seriously. So i decided to set up some 2010 resolutions and here they are

#1 Save 100 bucks everyone month and will not ask for additional pocket money for every month, unless earned with effort.
#2 Save up to 1000bucks on December 2010 at least, with the hope that i could buy a super laptop and bring to Australia.
#3 Work on my face complextion and my awful ass stretch lines. Theyre really hideous.
#4 Keep up with the weekly swimming routine, and increase the laps gradually ( im proud to say i could do breastroke in 5 laps, and freestyle in 4 laps without breaking, and pushed to 15laps per week. I know its cake, but it aint easy COACHING yourself to do it and stick to it. I swear if i could listen to iPod while swimmng, i'd be doing it. Sometimes it get really boring swimming. )
#5 Live up to my "its-a-want-or-need". If its not too much a WANT and not a NEED at all, dont buy it. Furthermore i shall ask minimal things from my parents. ( Again i am proud to say i've done pretty well in this field. Actually refrained myself from getting an iPhone 3Gs although i actually wanted it quite badly. )
#6 Live my life like everyday is a blessing. ( Which is progressing pretty well, i have managed to stay very optimistic about this long holiday )
#7 Will not purchase World of Warcraft : Cataclysm upon its release. Will quit it and wait for Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty. ( Anyone interested in buying my account? haha i MIGHT consider if the deal's really good )

Come to think about it, i've actually worked pretty well for 2009 as well.
1) Made an effort to consume veggie for every single damn meal, and an apple or fruit a day.
2) Spare all my family members from all the housework to my best ( and not bestest ) ability and not WHINE to them. ( Only managed to do this towards the end of the year, still consider an achievement nonetheless. I deserve a credit! haha )
3) This is probably the best. For the last quater of year 2009, i managed to make an effort to care for our mother earth. Day by day, bit by bit. Includes eating at the stall instead of packing the food, and making an effort to turn off 1 additional light in my house everyday. E.g. toilet lights after usage.
4) I drove a lot safer and with more patience. ( this probably is the part where all my friends would doubt me...i swear! )

Hmm not bad a year then i guess,
my Sunway College year has been a good one,
and so was 2009 in Monash.
Yey! Way to go, i'm making good progression with my life! 2010, here i come!

I...

Its simple, i admit i've been left alone and spend too much time with myself rather than the outside world and the people outside. Too much self-reflection, in this case for me.

Whilist all my surrounding friends keep telling me to get a girlfriend and whatnot, i tell you this now honestly - i'm too scared to love another person.

Say its my past failures, say its all the failed affections i have, say its me not having the guts to make a move on a girl. Say all you like. I'm afraid to get hurt the way i did, and way too many times have i left hurt and not a word i could utter.

Blue da be de ba

It rained. Simple as that.

I like driving during heavy downpour. Not as simple as that.

The deal is, i dont know why exactly i liked driving when theres a heavy downpour. So i did, when i decided to leave my seat in front of the comp to hunt for dinner at like 9.30pm. It started raining right when my hunger strikes, speak of coincidence...geez. So i was driving back with my I'm Lovin' It packed McD meals on the passenger seta next to me, and i decided to make disobey the traffic rule by making a left turn at a traffic light instead of taking the gradual left turn before the traffic because i totally knew that place would be so flooded and no car can pass through with the water level higher than your exhaust pipe ( even for a Honda City car )...not to mention i passed many floods already and at least 5 cars were seen broken down along the way.

So this fancifully custom made car, with all the damn cool hoods and vinyls came out at a junction, and i was actually paying close attention to him cuz i really thought he might crash into me straight. So i was driving casually and approaching, and then i saw him dashed into the pool of water, and his exhaust pipe was submerged and i bet he did not noticed the pool of water, he was driving pretty FAST N' FURIOUS-ly....only to dive into the pool of water. Pretty dangerous i must admit, but funny nonetheless because later i made the "illegal" turn... while whistling at his stupidity. Pride. haha.

Oh and i checked the charts for couple of songs, its pretty much a monthly/weekly routine, and found out couple of songs are actually darn good
Pixie Lott - Cry Me Out
Adam Lambert - Time For Miracles
Tokio Hotel - World Behind My Wall

Really really nice song, if you sit down and savour the song with an open mind. Thats all, laters all!

日有所思,夜有所梦

Before anything else, just wanted to say i had some fun going to the hot spring with my AUSMAT friends. Awesome, easy going fun day for the 5 of us.

Now is the real deal. I had a dream while i was sleeping, and it was sorta like a brief looking into the various cutscenes of a movie. I knew it was some movie that i loved and had watched before, but it was so long ago that i could not trace it at all. The whole story sets in a chinese historical time, where it would seem like a time like a decade or 2 after World War 2.

It all began with this scene where an old man, on a corner of a street next to his mobile porridge stall, you know how those big trolleys last time they used to go round selling foods, and those trolleys looked very much like the kiosk stalls nowadays in malls, just much older and dirtier and wooden. So he was at this corner, and he saw two better dressed gentleman standing outside this shop, he then turned, filled a bowl of porridge and then started approaching the two gentlemen and from the looks of it, he was trying to offer it to them. The two gentlemen were whispering to each other, and calling the old man in strayed clothes a liar and whatnot, funny they all converse in chinese, and they were all not murmuring, it was a very clear dialogue but i could not remember the exact words.

Then came another scene, where the man was pulled away by 2 policemen, and another one officer was standing behind and was saying something along the line of "never have i arrested you" which does not make any sense to me, but that officer does have a very serious look and was no where near friendly.

Then so many more scenes and everyone of them felt so familar. Next one came was me with a little brother outside god knows where, on a road with some flower garden up far ahead, and then to my right is my mom, which doesnt look like my mom at all but the feeling i had was she was my mom, holding up a phone, during a prison inmate visit hour. You know how visitors room in prisons are, i mean they always have this glass panel in between, and a phone across the glass panel to talk to each other. So i callled my mom, and she didnt even respond to my call at all, and all was in my mind is "she mustve missed my brother too much" and i actually smiled. Right after that to my left, came my elder brother behind a fence and he was sooo joyed to see me, and so was I. Weird thing is...why is not opposite of the glass panel?  You know how weird sometimes dreams are, the setting of the story and the locations does not make any sense at all.

Weird thing is
- How is my mom not responding to my brother when he came?
- How did i even know he was my elder brother? Emotionally i just knew it
- Why is she stilll on the phone? haha
- I thought it was an old man that got caught and imprisoned, why was it my brother?
- Why did i see a great deal of myself in that officer?

Weird dream indeed, but i felt a deep connection to it and just had to blog about it.

Wild dreams

This is an awful feeling. Having to sleep for 4 hours or so, the first thing you woke up you're surrounded by this feeling - the feeling of having lost everything.

Suddenly all the things you've thought you've possesed, seems to be quite meaningless now as compared to the things you've really wanted. Then you realize you had been lying to yourself theyre filling enough for your heart....all the time.

Birthday

So it was my birthday yesterday. Wootzness!

Early morning parents and i went picking my friend JiaYean up and then we headed for KLCC, through the awesome LRT commuter train. Guess what? apparently i think they were trying to lay down a banner "Happy 21st Birthday Lester" on the railway track, caused some serious problems and one of the lanes are closed. Which made one particular station, Masjid Jamek station a temporary "interchange.

---------------->|=====|<----------------
Train               | station |                Train
<----------------|=====|----------------->

Something like that, so what happened was you have to take the train to that particular station, alight from the train, and wait for another train which will be on the SAME PLATFORM, and approaching from the other direction in order to go foward. You have no idea how long it toke me and Jia to figured it out, alongside with all the commuters and caucasians which no doubt alrdy imprinted a bad impression for them. What a day, a birthday. lol. We decided to hang out at the Masjid Jamek station untill Ken arrived so we could leave for KLCC together. Did i also mention this caused a long "train jam"? Resulting in long wait when stopped at a station before departing to another station. Malaysia, Truly Asia. Ken finally got there and got me a very...fanciful tiny polka-strawberry-dots plastic bag, first thing that came to my mind is sanitary pack LOL. Hey guess what? its a Frostmourne ( warcraft stuff really ) keychain, its the same as Janelle's, ONLY BIGGER hah! Thanks Ken!

So the 3 of us got the KLCC and dined in at Manhantten Fish Market, well its part of the plan to feed on cooked fish and then view on live ones haha. Or otherwise, i couldnt remember haha, but it was defiinitely the plan to do both. Went KLCC Aquaria right after that, it was fun! I remembered clearly i mentioned i wanted to go Aquaria quite dearly tho, and i don't know whether its by coincidence or not Ken mentioned we should go Aquaria, either way it suits me just fine haha. And man, i've gotta say i LOVE that underwater tunnel.
Nothing beats having a shark swam across overhead, and theyre that huge! Beside, they're shrunk to 70% of their original size due to the refraction of the glass panels in the tunnel. Like, i totally seeing those sharks VERY up close and it was said that its a rare sight to have so many of the sea living beings to dwell outside of the dark corners and come out close. I would say the same thing, because its my birthday! Oh, and in the midst of our visit, we happen to have bumped into the feeding time, where there are divers out there. I actually typed "You are so cool!" on my handphone and sticked it to the glass and got the diver to read it haha! He gave a thumbs up, and make a gesture which suggests its shivering and cold inside.

We took a cab back afterwards, silly idiotic driver actually offered RM40 to take us back to my house. I felt like flipping my middle finger to that driver. We later flagged a 2nd cab that runs on meter, and guess how much? a little less than RM20 only, which the cab driver asked why we denied the first cab and mentioned "wah cepat kaya la orang ni" meaning - theyre fast getting rich with all these overly high offers.

We chilled out in my house, and they had a little tour around my little house. Left quite late, about 6.45 because i was saying how the VIP should always be the later one. Screw the rest that are still late, but many thanks to Mark Sean and George which arrived so early. Big thanks to Jia for sorting everything damn messy things out in the RedBox, i was just busy talking and looking in the mirror the whole damn time. Did i also mention the first thing i got into our room, is to get out again to get food and they tasted so nice? I guess i was just plain famished.
Sara and Brenda came afterwards due to the lack of parking spaces which was *inhales* DUE to Ne-Yo coming down sunway for a concert. I had a hard time finding parking as well, ended up in the sunway hotel outdoor parking with a fee of 7 bucks. Whatever. I've gotta say its pretty expensive per head for the karaoke, but thanks to my parents who paid half the amount for everyone. YewJin TianHui and EeLing came the latest, funny when Tian called he mentioned could he bring a friend along. You know how particular am i about who comes and who doesnt haha, then i asked for the name and he mentioned EeLing. Immediately i'd thought she was his gf,

"Whos your friend?"
"EeLing."
"Your girlfriend is it?"
"Ya."
"GIRLFRIEND IS IT OR NOT?!"
"YES YES!! "

Thats more like it, have some sense of *clears throat* ownership over her la man. haha. Well, girlfriend/boyfriends are most welcomed tho, theyre counted as one to me anyways haha, except when comes to billing im sorry LOL. Had a fun time singing, and i'd never knew my pitch can go so high and strong like songs by Christina Aguilera untill the point that even our awesome Sara couldnt do it! haha!

So there were Myself, Ken, Jiayean, George, Sara, Brenda, Mark, Sean, Yewjin, TianHui and EeLing. Oh and apparently sara brenda and eeling were schoolmates last time. What a tiny world. Midway Mark left earlier tho, which i must admit i was a little pissed untill i opened the present he gave me which made me LOL so badly haha. Its a friggin...let me find a picture first...

Yes this. The fucking exact same one. Man, tell me what was in your mind when you walked into the shop and bought this? Damn even i would be so ashamed to put this on the cashier table and pay for it. Its a *inhales*....

SkinxWear branded Men T-Back String Push-Up Thong. I swear, such items are manufactured in hell. I know im a sex icon...but...this? HAHAH seriously! Sean on the other hand got me a HushPuppies t-shirt, although they both share to buy these 2 items but i seriously think its 2 different items bought by 2 different people and have no whatsoever deciding factor on each other's choice of item.

Heh i just dipped it in soap water this morning and forgot to take it out to dry untill a while ago haha. Myth#1: Dont dump newly bought shirts into washing machine the first time, hand wash it! Because washing machine may tend to shrink it! So far its been true, maybe its just my intuition. However the gd news is i like it and i should be wearing it the next time given the opportunity! hence im wahsing it today!

About 10pmish my parents and my sis along with her bf came over to cut come cake and sung me bday song.  Afterwhich we went MOS clubbing!

And for the whole time i'd never expect george to come along also haha! Had a fun time, and sara & brenda treated me a...shot. I forgotten what shot was that but it was named TestTube. Tasted pretty nice, and i treated the other cup of Vodka like water because i was so friggin thristy. Damn the crowd in MOS, i guess it ws because of Ne-Yo's concert. Fun day! Thanks everyone for spending time with me and the bday wishes! <3
